As a key member of our dynamic Proposal Team, the Proposal Writer will play an essential role in crafting compelling proposals that showcase our capabilities and solutions. You will be responsible for writing, editing, and formatting content to create clear, persuasive submissions that align with client requirements and company objectives. You will work closely with internal teams to gather technical content, refine messaging, and ensure proposals are well-structured, client-focused, and strategically positioned to win new business.

Position Responsibilities
Here’s what your day-to-day looks like:

  • Develop clear, compelling, and high-quality proposals that effectively communicate our strengths and solutions.
  • Assist in managing the end-to-end proposal process, from RFP receipt to final submission, including requirement analysis, proposal planning, content development, coordination, and editing.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather information, refine content, and align messaging with client needs.
  • Maintain exceptional attention to detail while managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Continuously improve proposal content and processes through analysis, feedback, and refinement.
  • Enhance collaboration across the Proposal Team by updating and refining the proposal content library.

Job Requirements
Our ideal candidate has the following:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience responding to RFx documents and developing compliant submissions
  • A post-secondary education in Communications, Marketing, English, Writing, Journalism or equivalent field of study
  • Exceptional business writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign
  • Technical Writing experience is an asset

Additional Desired Skills

  • Experience with technology-driven proposal solutions and document management systems.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for proposal content generation and optimization.
  • Ability to innovate and streamline proposal processes using technology.
